The girls have wanted a trampoline in the backyard for such a long time. After deciding they had outgrown the play set we sold it, then with the money got for it we FINALLY bought them a trampoline. We were sad to say good bye to the play set… after all we had it for over 10 years and it was with us at two different houses. We made so many good memories with it (see pictures below). However, we are sure to make a bunch of new memories with the trampoline! :D
For the final band concert of the year the concert was held at Monroe Middle. Since the school will be closing after this year it was a farewell of sorts. The eighth graders get to pick a theme and dress up according to that theme. This year they picked “Masquerade.” They had fun finding masks and dressy outfits. (Ashley said she couldn’t see through her mask so she didn’t wear it during the concert.)

Finding a sunny day this year has been next to impossible. Since we’d been trying to plan a get together with Bryce and Elke and the Sun actually came out, we decided it would be fun to do a barbeque in the their backyard and play some lawn games.
It was a relaxing evening and we all had a great time together.
